“Real deal is a truly rare place that has instrumental in my rehabilitation. The staff truly cares deeply about you and wants you to succeed. They will work with you wherever you are in life, especially if your finances are wrecked like mine were. Also Real Deal is one of not many outpatient rehab/ sober living places that takes primary mental health cases. After multiple inpatient psych ward stays last year, I was recommended to enter a rehab program for my mental health struggles I've been having, it was very difficult to find an inpatient rehab that could take me, as most of the facilities in the state only take primary substance use or dual diagnosis cases, and thus I was denied, as I did not fit either criteria. I finally found one of the very few inpatient rehabs in Texas that could take my case, and after completing that program, was recommended Real Deal. I am so glad Real Deal exists and my life would be very different without them. What they provide is very comprehensive, group therapy/classes, individual therapy, access to a psychologist for comprehensive diagnosis, psychiatric services, and of course the sober living part. My individual therapist was incredible and it was so obvious she deeply cared about me and other clients, which I certainly haven't felt from every therapist I've ever seen. And this is true for most of the staff there, most of them with go above and beyond for you, and it is evident that most everyone there is there out of passion, not just for a job or their career. Highly recommend this place and thank you to everyone who helped me.”

“I love all of these guys. These guys made me feel better. They made me think better. You should have seen me when I first got there. I felt like nothing. Everyday in group I was hurting so much that I would sit hunched over with my face in my palms for hours. I was angry, depressed, and sad. I don't feel those ways anymore. This is because of my housemates, the sober living managers, the house manager which I will not name due to privacy, the program managers, therapists, and all staff unmentioned. Before I came here, I was certain I wouldn't be alive for much longer. These guys fixed that. I still have a long way to go, the experiences we go through before we have to come here, oftentimes are traumatic and life changing, they change your brain and they break your heart and soul.
